

Insert tables immediately after the first paragraph in which they are cited. Use continuous line numbers (do not restart the numbering on each page). Include page numbers and line numbers in the manuscript file. Limit manuscript sections and sub-sections to 3 heading levels. Make sure heading levels are clearly indicated in the manuscript text. To add symbols to the manuscript, use the Insert → Symbol function in your word processor or paste in the appropriate Unicode character.

Use a standard font size and any standard font, except for the font named “Symbol”. We encourage you to present and discuss your findings concisely. Manuscripts can be any length. There are no restrictions on word count, number of figures, or amount of supporting information. LaTeX manuscripts must be submitted as PDFs. Microsoft Word documents should not be locked or protected. Manuscript files can be in the following formats: DOC, DOCX, RTF or PDF. During resubmission, we may ask you to meet formatting requirements. When you first submit to the journal, providing you include all the necessary information needed for editorial assessment and review, we will not ask you to make any formatting changes.
